Frequently asked questions

How is the market value of a Magic card computed?

The market value is a range in euros recorded every day on the European market, for each language and each finish of the card. It is kept over time: the card page shows how it moved and the Portfolio shows how the collection's value moved.

Which languages and editions are covered?

The Magic catalogue indexes the cards of every official set with their available languages, Japanese included when the game has it, and their foil types. A copy is tracked by language and foil type, with the matching market value.

How do I add a Magic card to my collection?

The TCG Sense mobile app recognises a card with the camera, by its artwork and its number, then adds it to the collection in the detected language and finish. On the web, a card is added from search, by name, number or set.

Are the catalogue and the market values free?

Yes. The catalogue, the images and the market values stay freely accessible; advanced collection features are paid plans. TCG Sense sells no cards and takes no commission.
